How do I know if I’m academically prepared for this program?
Many students entering the program haven’t been in formal education for years. That’s normal. Because learning is competency-based and mentor-supported, academic readiness is assessed through conversation, writing samples, and your ministry experience—not standardized tests. If you’re unsure, reach out and we’ll help you discern fit without pressure.sh in about three years, though pacing is flexible and shaped around your ministry context.
What does communication with my mentor team actually look like?
Students meet monthly with their academic, pastoral, and network mentors. Some conversations happen over Zoom, others through messaging or shared documents. The goal is consistent, relational guidance—support that adapts to your schedule and ministry rhythms. If you’d like examples of what mentor meetings look like, we’re happy to share.
What if my ministry context changes while I’m enrolled?
Transitions happen—new roles, new locations, shifting responsibilities. Because the program is context-driven, competencies can be adapted to align with where you are and what you’re doing. If a major change occurs, your mentor team helps re-map your pathway so you can continue progressing without losing momentum.
Can I pause the program if life or ministry becomes overwhelming?
Yes. Students occasionally need to slow down or step back due to family needs, health, or ministry demands. Breaks can be arranged without penalty, and your mentors will help determine the best timing and structure. The goal is long-term formation, not rushing through requirements.
